Delhi Delhi: Oil marketing companies on Saturday cut the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders. The revised prices apply to 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders, which are widely used in hotels, restaurants and other businesses. With the latest amendment, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has decreased by Rs 7. As a result, the retail sales price of the cylinder in the national capital is now Rs 1,797. Price deduction is expected to provide some relief to businesses that depend on LPG for their daily tasks.
Oil companies regularly modify LPG prices based on changes in global crude oil rates and other factors. The prices of domestic LPG cylinders, which are used for cooking in the house, remain unchanged in this amendment. In December, oil companies increased the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 62. These price adjustments are expected to affect commercial installations and small businesses which are highly dependent on LPG for their operations. This amendment comes as part of a broader trend in fuel value adjustment in response to the changing conditions of the global market, which has been observed in recent times due to unstable international system.
This price modification will directly affect restaurants, hotels and other business installations that use these cylinders for daily tasks. Despite the increase in commercial LPG prices, there has been no change in the rates of domestic LPG cylinders, which has given some relief to the houses. LPG prices are different depending on local taxes and transport costs. Businesses across the country will benefit from low rates, although this change is minor.
