New Electric Bus Service inaugurated by Newgo

Greencell Mobility has inaugurated India’s first electric intercity bus service, Newgo. This service has been launched on the Delhi-Lucknow route, in which the fare for the journey has been fixed at Rs 999. The new route reflects the brand’s commitment to permanent mass mobility, which will provide travelers a premium travel experience between the two major cities of Northern India. The journey on this route will be completed in about 10 hours.

How much distance will the bus cover once charged?

These electric buses are designed to save safety, comfort and time. With zero tail-pipe emissions, each bus undergoes 25 security checks, including mechanical and electrical inspection, which ensures reliability for long distance travel. Once charged, these buses can cover a distance of more than 250 kilometers, which can make the Delhi-Lucknow visit easily for all passengers.

The Delhi-Lucknow service is part of the growing permanent mass dynamics network of Newgo, with more than 300 electric buses depart from more than 500 places per day.
