Bihar Constable Recruitment 2025: There is big news for lakhs of youth who are dreaming of becoming a constable in Bihar Police. The Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) announced the date of the written examination for recruitment to 19,838 constable posts on Thursday. This examination will be conducted in six phases, starting on July 16, 2025, and the final examination will be conducted on August 3, 2025.

Exam dates
The first date of the constable recruitment examination has been fixed as July 16. After this, the examination will be conducted on July 20, July 23, July 27, and July 30 and the final phase examination will be conducted on August 3, 2025. The examination will be conducted at 627 examination centers set up in 38 districts of the state.

Applications and number of candidates

It is worth noting that the advertisement for this recruitment was released on 11 March 2025. The online application process started on 18 March 2025 and lasted till 25 April 2025. During this period, a total of more than 17 lakh candidates had applied, out of which about 33,000 applications were canceled. Now 16,73,586 candidates will appear in the written examination.

On average, 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh candidates will appear for the examination on each exam date. All preparations have been completed for this examination and each candidate will be issued an admit card on time.

Strict monitoring and security arrangements in the examination

Central Selection Board Chairman and Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Jitendra Kumar told in a press conference that the examination will be conducted with complete transparency and fairness. He said that many examinations have been conducted before this, in which no incident like a paper leak happened. This time also the examination will be conducted with the same vigilance and seriousness.

ADG Jitendra Kumar said that all the District Magistrates have been given instructions to conduct the examination. Also, social media is being continuously monitored from the level of the Cyber ​​Police Station and Economic Offenses Branch. Strict action will be taken on suspicious activities.

Special arrangements of jammers and CCTV

He said that jammers will be installed at the examination centers, which will also be able to block 5G and Wi-Fi signals. Apart from this, all examination centers and important places will be monitored with CCTV cameras.

Before the examination, hostels, lodges, coaching centers, and such places will also be raided and monitored by the local police, where there is a possibility of a crowd of candidates.
