Eligibility to get a job in Oil India
Candidates who want to apply for these posts should have passed class 10th from any recognized board. A certificate in Diesel Mechanic / Fitter / Instrument Mechanic trade from a recognized institute is mandatory. Along with this, a minimum 3 years of work experience is required. This experience should be in the following areas.
Water injection station
Gas compressor station
Oil and gas production units
Petrochemical industry
Other related IOR/EOR facilities
Age limit to get a job in Oil India (as of 27 June 2025)
Maximum age limit for general category candidates - 45 years
Maximum age limit for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates - 48 years
Maximum age limit for SC/ST candidates - 50 years
Salary on selection
Fixed salary: Rs 21,450 per month (based on attendance)
Variable allowance: Rs 825 per day (payable only on working days)
