
The Uttar Pradesh government has given a gift to the pilgrims. The UP government has started a special scheme for all the devotees who are going to visit Kailash Mansarovar. The UP government has started the Mansarovar Yatra Yojana for the permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh who visit Mansarovar. Under this, the UP government will give Rs 1 lakh each to the devotees who visit Mansarovar. UP Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh announced this.

Who will get the benefit of UP's Kailash Mansarovar Yojana?
Only those who are permanent residents of the state can get the benefit of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra of the Uttar Pradesh government. Along with this, whoever will go on this journey through the official Kailash Mansarovar Yatra of the Central Government or a private travel agency and complete it.
The amount of one lakh rupees received under this scheme will be given to you after traveling to Kailash Mansarovar. That is, first, you have to travel to Kailash Mansarovar. After this, you can take advantage of it.
How to apply for Kailash Mansarovar Yojana?
UP travelers traveling to Kailash Mansarovar are eligible for this scheme. Within 90 days of completing the journey, you have to apply for it by visiting the UP government website www.updharmarthkarya.in. You will get the option of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra subsidy on this website. By clicking on it, you have to apply further.
Keep in mind that you must have a certificate of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. On traveling, you get a certificate, which you have to attach during the application. Along with this, you will also have to give your Aadhar card, PAN card, residence certificate, and visa.
Along with the necessary documents, you will also have to give your bank details. After applying, the UP government will verify the information filled you. If the application is correct, the UP government will transfer Rs 1 lakh to your account.
If you give wrong information during the application, then your application can also be canceled. If by mistake the government sends Rs 1 lakh to your account, then the government will also recover that money, and legal action can also be taken against you.
How many people will visit Kailash Mansarovar?
This time 750 pilgrims have been selected for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Out of these, 500 will complete their religious journey through the Nathu La route and 250 through the Lipulekh Pass route. This journey was stopped in the year 2019 due to Kovid 19. After this, it was not started in 2020 due to tension between India and China. Later in 2024, it was restarted after the consent of both the countries. After 5 years, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will start again on 30 June 2025.
