According to the Meteorological Department, Amethi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Kanpur, Rae Bareli, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Jhansi, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Meerut, Baghpat, Moradabad, Bareilly, Rampur, Badaun, Sambhal, Noida, Ghaziabad, Etawah, Hathras and Muzaffarnagar can bad weather.
Strong winds alert
These areas are expected to blow strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour during the next few days, which can affect life. The common man has been advised to avoid living in the open and stay away from trees, weak structures. The local administration has also been instructed to be vigilant and to keep emergency services ready.
Monsoon knock from 20 June
According to BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava, with the moving of the south-west monsoon, some parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh will remain rainy for the next 3-4 days. However, good and widespread rains in the state are expected to start around June 20. From this day, the monsoon will officially knock in Uttar Pradesh.
Rain will last a week
After June 20, most of the districts of UP may receive intermittent rains for a week after June 20. This will drop the temperature and provide relief from the heat. This rain is considered very beneficial for farmers, because this is a favorable time for sowing kharif crops.
