Sunjay Kapur’s final moments have surfaced online, offering a glimpse of the late industrialist just days before his tragic passing. Sunjay, who was the ex-husband of actor Karisma Kapoor and the Chairman of Sona Comstar, was recently remembered by the SUJÁN Indian Tigers Polo Team, who shared an emotional tribute and his last photo on Instagram.

Dressed in a dark blue outfit, Sunjay looked cheerful as he wrapped his arm around his friend Jaisal Singh.

The SUJÁN Indian Tigers Polo Team captioned the post, "Today we play the final of the Cartier Trophy in the memory of our dear friend Sunjay Kapur, who tragically passed away on the field a few days ago. Our Captain and Patron, Jaisal Singh, will mount up with the team to observe a minute's silence in honour of his dear old friend Sunjay, and then sit out as a mark of respect (folded hands emoji)."

How Did Sunjay Kapur Die?

Sunjay passed away in England at the age of 53 on June 12. His close friend Suhel Seth told news agency ANI that the industrialist suffered a heart attack, reportedly after swallowing a bee during a polo match.

Sunjay and Karisma Kapoor have two children together — daughter Samaira, born in 2005, and son Kiaan, born in 2011. The couple filed for divorce by mutual consent in 2014 and officially parted ways in 2016. After the separation, Sunjay married Priya Sachdev.
