UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) is going to launch a new QR code based app, which will make many tasks to Aadhaar not only easier but more secure.

UIDAI is creating an app that people will be able to give identity proof from the QR code instead of giving photocopies of their Aadhaar card. This means that now the problem of photocopy of paper will end and everything will be digital!

According to UIDAI CEO Bhuvanesh Kumar, now people sit at home like Aadhaar - services like:
Fingerprint and iris verification
Address update
Change the phone number or name
Date of date
As you will be able to do the work without going to the center.
Security is also stronger now
The user’s consent will be necessary to use Aadhaar data in this new system.
This will not be able to use your personal information without your approval.
QR code can only be shared by mobile-to-mobile or app-to-app-that too only with your permission.
Fake documents game over
UIDAI is now various government and private databases like:
Birth certificate
Matriculation certificate
Driving license
Passport
PAN card
MNREGA and PDS Record
… Your address and other information will be verified by itself. This will prevent making Aadhaar with fake documents.
Property registration will also be used
UIDAI wants the state governments to be identified with Aadhaar QR code during property purchase. This will also prevent the fraud of land and property.
