Pakistani actress and model Komal Meer, known for her performances in hit dramas like Resham Gali Ki Husna, Badshah Begum, and Rah-e-Junoon, has recently become a trending topic online — but this time, not just for her work. The former Miss Veet Pakistan contestant has been in the spotlight due to noticeable physical changes, with fans speculating about her weight gain and possible cosmetic enhancements. However, it’s her recent appearance on Wajahat Rauf’s show “Voice Over Man” that truly set social media ablaze.

In a segment of the show, Komal was asked a hypothetical yet provocative question: Would she prefer a loyal man with little money or a wealthy man who is disloyal? Without hesitation, Komal chose the latter — opting for the rich but disloyal partner. She justified her choice by stating, “No one is loyal these days anyway, so I’d rather be with someone who has money.”

Her candid and unapologetic response immediately triggered a flood of mixed reactions online. While some viewers criticized the statement for normalizing infidelity and undermining the value of loyalty, many others praised her for her honesty, saying she simply voiced what many think but don’t admit.

One social media user commented, “Choosing wealth is a woman’s right, but accepting disloyalty as normal is a worrying mindset.” Others, however, were more sympathetic to her perspective, saying, “At least she’s honest. In today’s world, everyone cheats. Better to cry in a BMW than on a bicycle.”

Komal’s remark has reignited a long-standing debate about materialism vs. emotional integrity in modern relationships. Whether one agrees with her or not, there’s no denying that her bold stance has started a larger conversation — one that’s reflective of evolving social values and harsh relationship realities.

As Komal continues to build her career in the spotlight, her unfiltered views are now as much a part of her public persona as her on-screen performances.
