By Jitendra Jangid- Friends, North India is currently battling severe heat, the temperature in many areas has crossed 45 degrees, due to which the common people are getting very affected, but if IMD reports are to be believed, then people are expected to get relief from the heat very soon, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi is all set to welcome the monsoon earlier than usual this year - bringing with it heavy rains and a significant drop in temperature.

Normal timeline: The monsoon usually arrives in Delhi-NCR around June 30.

This year's update: The IMD has predicted that the monsoon will reach Delhi between June 19 and June 25, which is about 10 days before the normal schedule.

What to expect from the early monsoon

Heavy rains ahead: As soon as the monsoon arrives, heavy rains are expected in Delhi and surrounding NCR areas.

Cooling effect: The arrival of rains will bring instant relief from the scorching heat, with temperatures expected to drop sharply.

Temperature forecast before monsoon arrival

Between June 14 and June 17, Delhi may see a slight drop in temperatures, which may range between 37°C to 42°C.

Light to moderate rains and strong winds are also expected, indicating a change in monsoon conditions.

Rise in humidity: The rising humidity levels in the city are already indicating the arrival of monsoon.
