No, don't worry - it's not just you. really is down right now. According to users of services such as Google Maps, Google Meet, Google Cloud, and YouTube, things aren't working. Google's Nest security cameras are also offline for some, making this a pretty major problem.
The gremlins began at around 7.30pm, with hundreds, if not thousands, of Google users currently affected.
Independent website Downdetector, which tracks "when services go down or have outages", is showing hundreds of reports across all of Google's most popular platforms. Google Cloud, Nest and Google Maps appear to be the worst affected.

Many users have now taken to social media to complain about the hugely frustrating issues.
Posting on X, one Google fan called Restart, said: "Looks like Google Cloud and Cloudflare have gone down."
And user, TheBoss, added: "All Google products down including Youtube."
Jennifer simply added: "Oh damn Google went down."
Along with Google's servers having problems, it also appears that other platforms such as Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services are also struggling tonight. This is leaving many unable to access key platforms on the web.
There is currently no word on what is causing the Google problems but we'll keep this page updated with the latest news.

Google's server status is showing problems with a post being added at 8pm BST
"We're investigating reports of an issue with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Google Cloud Search, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Meet, Google Tasks and Google Voice. We will provide more information shortly.
"Our engineers are currently investigating the issue. We apologise to all who are affected by the disruption."
