In an edge-of-your-seat conclusion to the BBC's Race Across The World, two new valiant victors have emerged triumphant amidst formidable competition.
This season's epic challenge propelled ten daring participants across the vast terrains of Asia, covering a staggering 14,000km from China through Nepal to India, all vying for the tantalising £20,000 pot of gold.
The adventure began at the iconic Great Wall of China, with travellers embarking toward Kanniyakumari at India's southernmost tip, armed only with basic language skills and void of modern aids like bank cards or smartphones.
They faced emotional highs and lows, daunting climate calamities, and indelible experiences that stretched their resilience to the very brink.
In tonight's heart-stopping finale, sisters Elizabeth and Letitia contended against in and Sioned, alongside siblings Brian and Melvyn, who aspired for heartfelt reconnection, as well as mother-son team Caroline and Tom also in the fray, reports .

Previously in the series, Gaz and Yin, a once-married duo now close friends, bid an early farewell as the inaugural team ousted.
Now, the crowning moment has arrived with Caroline and Tom claiming victory in the 2025 edition, following last year's heroes, Alfie and Owen, into the annals of the show's history.
Caroline and Tom penned their names into the ledger first, marking their win, closely followed by Elizabeth and Letitia just 19 minutes behind, with Fin and Sioned, and finally brothers Brian and Melvyn trailing in.
An elated Caroline exclaimed: "I'm feeling on top of the world." She later reflected poignantly: "We must never doubt ourselves again. Ever, ever, ever."
Tom shared his overwhelming emotions, adding: "That's a really good feeling, I'm lost for words, I can't believe it. 51 days racing through countries I never thought I'd go to, I never thought we'd come this far, I never thought we'd achieve so much and I've never been prouder of my mum - she got me through it."
Following the series' filming, Tom hailed Race Across The World as the "best experience of my life," while Caroline deemed it "a lifetime achievement".

Caroline expressed: "It feels absolutely amazing, I'm so sad it's come to an end, that is the worst bit about it.
"We've enjoyed being with everybody but my God this race has meant so much. We've learnt so much we've enjoyed it and to actually win it as well as to have the experience is the best thing that could have happened to us."
Tom also reflected on the victory, adding: "Doing the experience in itself is winning but to actually get to that book first and open it and to see that it was empty was something that I'll remember for the rest of my life."
The final stretch of their adventure saw Tom and Caroline setting off in pole position, ahead of Elizabeth and Letitia, with Fin and Sioned trailing, and Brian and Melvyn starting last, a full 17 hours behind.
In the concluding dash, all teams faced a choice: take a shorter coastal route to the south of India where tickets were hard to come by, or navigate through bustling inland cities with more transport options available.
It was a nail-biting contest as Brian and Melvyn seemed poised for a comeback, while Tom and Caroline were hit with an early setback.

At one stage, Tom thought he had overtaken rivals Fin and Sioned on the road, whereas Elizabeth and Letitia navigated the urban maze by enlisting local assistance.
Beyond the competitive chase, in their concluding moments in India, the participants took time to contemplate the cherished experiences they've shared with their travel companions and the bonds formed, irrespective of whether they clinch the cash prize or not.
While Letitia and Elizabeth dwelled on rekindling their sisterly connection after times of strain, brothers Brian and Melvyn pondered over why it had taken them so long to grow closer and "rekindle lost memories".
Fin, meanwhile, lauded Sioned for her blossoming confidence, and Tom moved Caroline (alongside numerous viewers) to tears as he expressed how valuable the journey with his mother has been.
"The sob stories on #raceacrosstheworld are the best thing about it. It's epic, emotional telly, personally I can't get enough," remarked a viewer, who was emotionally invested in the show.
Another viewer confessed: "I keep changing my mind about who I want to win. They are all winners really."
Race Across The World is available to watch on BBC iPlayer, with a reunion airing next Wednesday at 9pm.
