Having been five years since she stepped away from royal life, Meghan has now been urged to move on with her life. Taking to her column for , former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond wrote: "You are an independent woman with a husband who adores you.
"Just because he's a prince doesn't mean you have to hang on to the idea of being a princess."
She then told Meghan: "You tried being part of the Royal Family and hated it. Time to move on, which, I think, is what this is all about."
Jennie's comments come just days after Meghan showed herself, according to the expert, to be a "shrewd operator" by releasing a video of herself dancing in a hospital room. The video was taken shortly before the birth of Lilibet in June 2021.
As well as a sweet birthday tribute to her daughter, whom Meghan described as her "beautiful girl", the former working royal also revealed that the family has celebrated her birthday with a trip to Disneyland.
