Thomas Frank's potential appointment as Tottenham head coach could possibly have an impact on Bryan Mbeumo's next move. The Brentford ace appears on course to depart the Gtech Community Stadium this summer after a stunning season in the Premier League, with a £60million transfer to Manchester United in the pipeline.

However, may yet have a say on the Cameroon international's future . According to , Frank has told Tottenham he wants them to rival the Red Devils for the signature of the 25-year-old.

As part of the summer changes taking place in N17, attack is one area Tottenham need to look at as they target a successful 2025/26 campaign. .

The Avallon-born player has been an instrumental figure in Frank's Brentford team ever since moving to the capital from French side Troyes in the summer of 2019. His tally of 20 league goals last season was by far his best in a Brentford shirt after failing to hit double figures in his previous three Premier League campaigns.

Mainly operating from the right flank but also more than capable of playing either as a striker or just off the frontman, would be a shrewd signing if Spurs could entice him to north London. The pull of working with Frank once again and Champions League football could prove key if Tottenham are to deal yet another blow to Manchester United after beating them in last month's Europa League final.

Speaking to at the start of May, spoke about Mbeumo's future and did mention that a summer exit is a possibility as Brentford "are a selling club".

"I'm the head coach, I want my best players to stay forever," he said. "I know that Bryan is very happy being here at Brentford, he's thriving, doing well and playing fantastic.

"So, of course, if the right price - and that's going to be expensive - is coming, then I'm sure the club will be open for it. But I'm very happy he's here, and I'm convinced that Bryan will still be happy playing football here."

So amid that possible Tottenham attacking upgrade with the addition of Mbeumo, what could Tottenham's dream attack look like come the start of the 2025/26 season? Frank has deployed a number of different formations at Brentford and Spurs would likely change setup from time to time if he does become boss.

We have taken a look at three options below:

The Bees did finish the 2024/25 season in a 4-2-3-1 formation, something we have seen at Tottenham on a regular basis in years gone by.

In this formation, would be the striker and he would then be supplied by the three players behind him. Mbeumo would start from the right, .

It would then be a choice between or for the No.10 role, with Son Heung-min leading the way to start from the left. Johnson, Richarlison and Wilson Odobert are also candidates to play from the left and so would Mathys Tel if he is signed permanently.,

Another formation of choice for Frank at Brentford has been 4-3-3. In this setup, Mbeumo, Wissa and Kevin Schade have been the trio leading the line.

If this is replicated at Tottenham, Mbeumo would start from the right, Solanke centrally and then one of Son, Johnson, , Odobert or Tel from the left.

Frank has also utilised a 5-3-2 formation throughout his Brentford career. This one is all dependent on their opponents, with the Dane opting for this against Tottenham and Manchester City at the start of the season.

In a front two for Spurs it would be Solanke and Mbeumo to lead the line. Frank would certainly have choice in this formation as and Richarlison would then be further options to play there.
