RCB Victory Parade Stampede: After the victory in IPL 2025, the stampede in RCB’s Victory Parade has shook the entire country along with cricket fans. In this incident, 11 people lost their lives, while more than 40 people were injured. Meanwhile, the BCCI has defended the RCB over the incident and described the eye -opening for the IPL franchises. At the same time, the board is going to take important decisions regarding the upcoming big events, in which a large number of people are going to attend.

After the incident of stampede outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said, “It is going to open eyes and we have to think what we should do in such circumstances.” Saikia said in a conversation with the Indian Express, ‘Every year someone will be the winner and his hometown will be celebrated. So we have to learn a lesson so that this does not happen in future. At this time, BCCI has no control over private ceremonies of any franchise. Along with this, he spoke of no role of BCCI in the stampede incident.

BCCI Secretary Saikia further said to the English newspaper, ‘Yesterday (Tuesday) there were 1,32,000 people at Narendra Modi Stadium. We took care of every small and big thing about security and mob management and despite all the standing, there was not a single incident. There was proper police system and control. Today something was very wrong in Bengaluru but BCCI has no role in it. He said, ‘It is going to open eyes and we have to think what we should do in such circumstances. Every year there will be a winner and celebrations will be celebrated in his hometown. So we have to learn a lesson so that this does not happen in future. At this time, BCCI has no control over private ceremonies of any franchise.

Arun Dhumal, chairman of the IPL Governing Council, said, ‘We have noticed this and will ensure that such incidents happen again. We had no information about any victory parade or any celebration in Bengaluru. We do not know who organized it and how so many fans came there. We will investigate the matter. He said, ‘Even RCB management did not know what was happening, as they were inside the stadium. As soon as we came to know, we talked to RCB officials and they told us that they are ending the matter.
