Manchester United are ready to bid again to Brentford for Bryan Mbeumo as they want the forward badly. Mbeumo has also made the choice that he only wants United. The first bid of around €45 million was rejected and now and improved one will be submitted to the club that will be close to what Brentford’s asking for the forward.
Manchester United are set to return with an improved offer for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo after seeing their initial €45 million bid rejected. The Red Devils are determined to land the versatile forward, who has emerged as a top attacking target this summer.
Sources close to the negotiations suggest United’s next bid will be much closer to Brentford’s asking price, which is believed to be in the region of €55-60 million. United’s interest in Mbeumo has intensified in recent days, with manager Erik ten Hag keen to bolster his forward line ahead of the new season.
Crucially, Mbeumo has made it clear that Manchester United is his preferred destination. The 24-year-old has informed his representatives and Brentford that he wants the move to Old Trafford, which could put pressure on the Bees to accept the next offer.
