An old video featuring Bollywood stars speaking positively about Pakistan has gone viral. This resurfacing comes in the wake of recent cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan.
On the night between May 6 and 7, India launched air and missile strikes on six locations inside Pakistan. These attacks, under “Operation Sindhoor,” reportedly killed more than 30 Pakistani civilians. Since then, the situation between the two countries has remained tense.
While many Indian celebrities have supported the attack, social media has revived a contrasting narrative. A video compilation is now circulating widely. It features multiple Bollywood actors expressing love and admiration for Pakistan and its people.
Shah Rukh Khan is prominently featured in the video. He is heard praising Pakistani cricketers. “They are world-class T20 players. They are champions,” he says. In another clip, he says he believes Pakistanis are great neighbors. “We should spread love between each other,” he adds.
Shah Rukh also recalls his family roots in Peshawar. He says he would gladly visit Pakistan to work or perform if given the chance.
Other stars in the video include Preity Zinta, who dances with Shah Rukh alongside Pakistani actors Humayun Saeed and Reema at an award show. The nostalgic performance is also trending online.
Priyanka Chopra expresses deep affection for Pakistan in the same compilation. “The love I receive from Pakistan is amazing. I hope to visit one day if someone invites me,” she says.
Govinda, another Bollywood veteran, sends greetings to Pakistan. “Assalamualaikum. I love you all. May God bless you,” he says in a heartfelt message.
Anil Kapoor speaks about his long-standing desire to visit Pakistan. “Why should there be a divide between India and Pakistan?” he asks. “I constantly think about when I’ll be able to visit. I miss going there.”
He also thanks Pakistani fans for their love and support. “We are grateful to all Pakistanis who appreciate Bollywood,” he adds.
Akshay Kumar, often seen as a nationalist figure, also features in the video. He says, “The love we get from Pakistan is unmatched. The situation between the two countries must improve.” He jokes that a combined Indo-Pak cricket team would be unbeatable.
Amitabh Bachchan shares his personal connection to Pakistan. “We’re neighbors, like a family. My mother was born in Pakistan and studied in Lahore. My grandfather practiced law in Karachi,” he says.
Tusshar Kapoor also joins in, saying, “So much love comes from Pakistan. It’s more than from any other country.” He adds, “Keep sending this love.”
Diljit Dosanjh, the famous singer and actor from Punjab, also speaks. He says Punjabis on both sides of the border are united by heart. “Borders are created by politicians. For us, people are people,” he says.
Another surprise in the video is Ayushmann Khurrana, who can be seen singing “Dil Dil Pakistan”. The patriotic Pakistani anthem sung by an Indian actor has sparked emotional reactions online.
The video has gone viral across platforms. Social media users in both India and Pakistan are sharing it. Many are calling for peace. Comments are filled with prayers for dialogue, unity, and friendship.
This viral video has reignited discussions about cultural ties. It also highlights how art and humanity can rise above politics, even during moments of conflict.
