From yesterday, petrol pump owners have decided not to take money from other digital platforms including UPI. Petrol pump owners and organizations in many cities of the country have decided not to take payment in digital ways due to the great reason for increasing cyber fraud through digital payment. According to the news of TOI, petrol pumps in these cities are not going to stop taking payment from UPI only, but have also threatened to stop taking payment from the card since May 10.

It has been said by the Vidarbha Petroleum Dealers Association that due to increasing cases of cyber fraud, petrol pump owners have to face a lot of problems. Due to this, they are also suffering a lot. The cards or netbanking of the fraudsters are hacked and paid. Then when a person complains in this case, the police cancel the transaction. The Federation of All Maharashtra Petroleum Dealers Association says that due to such cyber fraud, the accounts of many petrol pump owners have been completely blocked. Due to which they are also suffering financial losses from one side, then there is a problem in taking the rest of the payment on the other side.

The association has also done that the president of the association Vijay Thackeray has said that he has received complaints from many petrol pump owners in this regard. Digital transactions of petrol pump owners are canceled and later their account is also blocked.

Association president Vijay Thackeray says that earlier the amount was quite small, so often petrol pumps did not pay attention to it. Now such incidents are increasing due to which this decision has been taken. In this regard, Amit Gupta, President of Federation of All Maharashtra Petroleum Dealers Association, says that the government has been informed about this. Petrol pump owners will start digital payment only when they will also be assured of appropriate action. Right now this decision is going to implement the Petrol Pump Association of Maharashtra. In such a situation, it has to be seen how its response comes across the country and cyber fraud is becoming a big problem in today's date.
