A special agreement between the state government and SBI
An MoU has been signed for an important agreement between the Jharkhand government and the State Bank of India (SBI). Under this, all government employees having salary accounts in SBI will get these benefits. This MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, where Finance Department Special Secretary Rajeshwari B. and SBI Deputy General Manager Devesh Mittal signed.
Employees will get these facilities free.
Under this, government employees will get not only accidental insurance but also health insurance and life insurance facilities. The most important thing is that employees will not have to pay any extra money for all these facilities. That is, it will be completely free.
70 thousand policemen are already getting benefits
KV Bangaraju, Chief General Manager of Jharkhand-Bihar Circle of SBI, said that out of 1.75 lakh government employees of the state, about 70,000 policemen are already getting these benefits. Now this new facility is also being given to the remaining 1.05 lakh employees.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that government employees play an important role in the development of the state. Therefore, the government is trying to give them a safe and respectable environment, so that they can do their work wholeheartedly. He said that this new initiative will further strengthen the economic security of the employees.
At present, 580 branches, 1,260 ATMs, and about 2,600 customer service points (CSP) of SBI are working in Jharkhand. This means that SBI has access to every corner of the state, so government employees will not face any problems in availing of these facilities.
