LPG Price Cut: LPG cylinder prices reduced, became cheaper by Rs 41 in Delhi, know the new rates..

Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of LPG gas cylinders with the start of the new financial year. Especially the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders have been reduced, which will provide relief to hotels, restaurants, and business sectors.

Commercial cylinders became cheaper by Rs 41 in Delhi.

In the country's capital Delhi, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs 41. After this reduction, now this cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1762, whereas earlier its price was Rs 1803. The new rates have come into effect from April 1, 2025.

Prices were reduced in other cities too.

Apart from Delhi, the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders have also been reduced in other metro cities.

Kolkata: Now 19 kg commercial cylinder will be available for Rs 1872, earlier it was priced at Rs 1913.

Mumbai: Here now this cylinder will cost Rs 1714.50, which was earlier Rs 1755.50.

Chennai: Now the new price of commercial cylinders is Rs 1924, whereas earlier it was available for Rs 1965.

No change in domestic LPG prices

Despite the reduction in the prices of commercial gas cylinders, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG gas cylinders (14.2 kg). Currently, domestic LPG gas cylinders is available for Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 818.50 in Chennai.

LPG cylinder prices change every month

On the 1st of every month, oil marketing companies fix the prices of LPG gas cylinders. These prices can be increased or decreased according to the need. Last month, i.e. on March 1, the companies had increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 6.

Why did the prices of commercial LPG gas decrease?

The fluctuations in the prices of crude oil and gas in the international market also affect the domestic market. Apart from this, prices are also changed from time to time to balance the government policy and the profits of the companies.
