
LPG Cylinder Price Hike: There has been a shock of inflation in the festive season. LPG has become expensive from Eid in the month of Holi and Ramadan. Government oil companies have announced an increase in the price of LPG cylinders. The price of 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been increased from March 1, 2025 i.e. today. Indian Oil has increased the price of commercial LPG gas cylinder by Rs 6 from March 1 to Rs 1803 per cylinder, which was earlier Rs 1797.
Government oil companies review the price of LPG cylinders on the first date of the month. The new month is starting from today, which is a festive month. While Holi is this month, Eid festival is also in this month. Along with this, Ramadan is also going to start from 2 March i.e. tomorrow. There are also weddings in this month. And from the first day of this month, government oil marketing companies have increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders. The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 6. In Delhi, the new price has now become Rs 1803 per cylinder which was earlier Rs 1797.

In Delhi, the price of a 19 kg cylinder has been increased from Rs 1797 to Rs 1803. In Kolkata, the new price has increased from Rs 1907 to Rs 1913. In Mumbai, the new price of commercial LPG cylinders has increased from Rs 1749.50 to Rs 1755.50. In Chennai, commercial LPG cylinder gas will now be available for Rs 1965, up from Rs 1959.
No change in the price of domestic cylinders
Even though the price of commercial LPG cylinders has increased from today, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders. However the increase in the price of commercial LPG cylinders may affect the food served in restaurants. Restaurants may increase the rates of their food.
