The scissors Dham Ashram located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand is not just a pilgrimage site, but it has become a lively symbol of faith, miracle and devotion. Neem Karoli Baba is sitting here, whose miracles are discussed not only in India but abroad. His devotees believe that Baba is the incarnation of Hanumanji and whoever comes with true mind at his feet, all his wishes are fulfilled.
Scissor Dham: Earth of Miracles
Every year on 15 June, thousands of devotees from India and abroad gather here on the death anniversary of Baba. Hanumanji is also worshiped along with Baba’s temple in Catchy Dham. Many devotees and locals believe that Baba himself was the form of Hanumanji, and he showed many miracles in his life, which are beyond science and logic.
1. The train stopped as soon as the tongs were buried
Neem Karoli is one of the most popular miracles of Baba when he stopped the train. The incident is reported to be of the British period when Baba was traveling without a ticket and a railway employee took him down from the train. Baba sat quietly at the nearby Neem Karoli station and buried his tongs in the ground. What happened after this, surprised everyone – the train did not move forward. There was no malfunction in the engine, but even after all the efforts, the train did not run. Local authorities apologized to Baba, and when Baba removed the tongs and sat in the train, the train immediately started. Baba placed a condition that a station should be built there so that the local people get benefits. Since then the name of the station has been named Neem Karoli railway station.
2. Turned water into ghee
It is said that there was a shortage of ghee during the event of Bhandare once in the scissors Dham Ashram. A large number of people came to the ashram for food, but there was no ghee in the kitchen. When this thing was told to Baba, he said, “Bring water from the river and cook it with it.” Devotees did the same – when the water was poured into the kitchen, it miraculously turned into ghee. Bhandara not only succeeded, but everyone realized that Baba’s power is no less than a miracle.
3. Mystery of bulletproof blanket
Another famous miracle of Neem Karoli Baba is known as ‘Bulletproof Black’. This incident is from Fatehgarh, where Baba was staying at an elderly couple’s house. The couple’s son was in the army and was surrounded by Japanese soldiers during the war. The same night Baba rested in that house with a blanket. Surprisingly, his son posted in the army the same night experiences that a blanket is saving him from bullets. The next morning he gets the right information that he escaped from the war. This mysterious experience was his book by Richard Alpert alias Ramdas, American professor and Baba’s disciple “Miracle of love” Recorded in where it is named Bulletproof Blanket.
Baba’s fame spread around the world
Neem Karoli Baba is revered not only in India but also abroad. Apple founder Steve Jobs, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Hollywood actress Julia Roberts, and Google’s Larry Page have been influenced by Neem Karoli Baba’s spiritual inspiration. Steve Jobs came to the scissors Dham, and Zuckerberg also spoke of taking inspiration from Baba in the early days of Facebook.
Shraddha is a true miracle
Neem Karoli Baba’s miracles are not just stories, but there are amazing experiences of reverence and devotion, which even today thousands of devotees experience. Baba never described himself as miraculous, but his life and words certify themselves that when the part of God comes in human form, it becomes impossible. If there is a hindrance in your life, the mind is distraught or the path is not clear, then one must remember Baba Neem Karoli. Perhaps the same moment changes the direction of your life.
