Whatsapp video call new option
This new feature has been seen in WhatsApp beta version 2.25.7.3 which is currently not available to common users but has been included in the app code to be rolled out soon.
This feature will have an option called “Turn of Your Video” so that users will be able to turn off the video before taking video calls. This means that if a person gets a video call, he will go directly into voice-only mode.
If the user’s camera is already closed, then whatsapp can also show a confirmation message named “Accept Widout Video”. Apart from this, during the call, the option of “Turn on Your Video” will be available so that the users will be able to turn on the video whenever they want.
Why didn’t this feature previously not feature in Whatsapp?
Till now there was no such option in WhatsApp. Users could close the camera during video calls, but there was no option to do so before picking up the call. This new feature will work like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and other video-conferencing apps, which will provide more convenience and control to the user.
Other new features coming in WhatsApp
Whatsapp user is continuously working on new features to improve experience. These new features can be seen in the coming days-

Meta AI Chatbot: Whatsapp is planning to bring a new interface to its Meta AI Chatbot. It will have an automatic voice mode and suggested prompts during chatting, which would improve the experience of interaction.
