Let us tell you that this step has been taken after the crash of flight AI171 from Ahmedabad to London last week. In this accident, 241 passengers out of 242 were killed in the flight. Also, after this accident, Air India has increased technical investigation and security inspection of its flights.
An official statement has been released by Air India. Which states that till June 17, at least 7 international flights, which were about to fly from cities like Delhi and Mumbai, have been canceled or have become temporarily unperturbable. Air India has said on X that due to bad weather in Delhi, it has affected flights. Some flights have been diverted. Please check your flight status before going to the airport.
After this situation, Air India has made the refund process easier for troubled passengers. Passengers can track the refund of their booking online and apply for refund with the help of a website or mobile app.

- First of all go to the Refund Portal of Air India.
- Now click on the option of Check Status Pending Refunds.
- Submit the necessary details and submit it.

- However, if you contact your ticket travel agent or third party portal in the condition of booking.
- Date of ticket issuance can be applied for refund for 2 years.
