
Sisters Mannara Chopra and Mitali Handa performed their father Randeep Rai Handa's last rites at his funeral ceremony in Mumbai on Wednesday. The sisters were seen getting emotional and breaking down as they carried his mortal remains.Heartbreaking visuals from the funeral have now surfaced online in which Mannara can be seen giving a shoulder to her father's bier along with other members of the family. The actress was seen getting emotional and she refused to move away even when others offered help, and insisted on carrying her father's bier herself. Her sister, Mitali, on the other hand, was seen breaking down and crying uncontrollably as they bade goodbye to their father.Later, Mannara was seen being the pillar of strength for her mother and Mitali as both of them could not stop crying during the final rites.Priyanka Chopra's brother, Siddharth Chopra, was also present at the funeral. Mannara's father was the uncle of Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra. He was married to Kamini Chopra, the paternal aunt of the two actresses.Mannara's father, Randeep Rai Handa, passed away on June 16 in Mumbai. The family issued a statement which read, "With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family."Priyanka too later penned an emotional note for her uncle. "You'll always be in our hearts. Rest easy Raman uncle (fufaji). Om Shanti (sic)," she wrote.Mannara, whose real name is Barbie Handa, is the paternal cousin of Priyanka and Parineeti.
