In western India, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa and Maharashtra (Maharashtra Weather) are likely to receive heavy rains with thunderstorms and strong winds from 17 to 23 June. An update has been issued about very heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and other areas in southern peninsular India on 17 and 18 June. During this time, stormy winds may blow at a speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour.

IMD has issued the latest update and said that heavy rains along with thunderstorms will continue in Northeast India for the next 7 days, in which a warning of very heavy rains has been issued in Meghalaya on 18 and 19 June. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rains with strong winds in Uttarakhand, eastern Uttar Pradesh (Up Mausam Update) and eastern Rajasthan in northwestern India from 17 to 23 June.
