Shehnaaz Gill has started shooting for her next Punjabi romantic comedy Singh vs Kaur 2, alongside Gippy Grewal. Directed by Navaniat Singh, the movie is being shot currently in Punjab. While the makers haven’t announced a release date yet, the rumor about the sequel is already making noise, courtesy Shehnaaz’s social media posts.

Behind-the-Scenes Fun from the Train Set

Shehnaaz posted a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram on Monday that offered fans a look at the lighter moments of the set. The video had Shehnaaz, Gippy Grewal, and several crew members within a train setup, chatting casually. Shehnaaz can be seen shaking hands with Gippy in a joking manner at some point.

In the clip, Shehnaaz was cutely dressed in a white blouse, blue jeans, and a brown embroidered waistcoat. Gippy paired himself with a black t-shirt, coordinating trousers, and a mustard turban. The background music consisted of Gippy’s newly released track Jacheya, which set the atmosphere light and lively.

Gippy had captioned the clip with a witty line: “Pehli war koi kudi nu munda Jacheya.”

Fans could not contain their anticipation. One Instagram user commented, “Merko Jab We Met waali vibe kyu aa rahi hai Train dekh ke,” while another said, “Looking simply very adorable Punjabi pataka girl.” People eagerly wished for the sequel, referring to it as a must-watch.

A Promising Sequel and More Projects Ahead

Singh vs Kaur 2 is the second installment of the 2013 blockbuster Singh vs Kaur, with Gippy Grewal and Surveen Chawla. The first one was hit and then remade in Bengali. This is Shehnaaz and Gippy’s second big collaboration since 2019’s Daaka as well.

Shehnaaz Gill would also feature in Sab First Class alongside Varun Sharma and another Punjabi film Ikk Kudi.
