Bollywood’s power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have always kept their family life beautifully grounded despite their stardom. After dating for five years, the duo exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on the balcony of their Bandra home. The same year turned out to be extra special for the couple — they released their much-awaited passion project Brahmāstra and welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Raha.
Ever since her arrival, Raha has been the centre of their universe and a favourite among fans online. Now, an old video of Alia sharing her future birthday surprise for Raha has resurfaced and is winning hearts all over again.
Alia Bhatt’s Special Gift for Raha’s 15th Birthday
In March this year, Alia Bhatt had an honest and heartfelt chat with author and life coach Jay Shetty on his podcast. The actress candidly spoke about embracing motherhood while dealing with ADHD and anxiety. In a now-viral clip from that conversation, Alia revealed a touching gesture she’s been quietly working on for her daughter.
She said, “I'm doing this thing where I send Raha e-mails. I've been doing it since she was born, every month. Just like an amalgamation of photos and videos and what happened and just thoughts and feelings.”
She further explained her beautiful idea, “It's like a live memory book. It's nice, when maybe she's fifteen, I'd give this to her and say, ‘This is all the memories that we collected for you over the years and go ahead and have some fun’.”
Netizens Can’t Get Enough of Alia’s Heartwarming Gesture
The adorable revelation left fans emotional and filled the comments section with love and praise for the doting mother. One user gushed, “❤️❤️❤️Raha will love this when she grows up,” while another added, “😍😍love this idea.”
A comment read, “The best gift a parent can give to child,” and another called it “omg this is so wholesome.”
