The visionary filmmaker behind Baahubali 1 & 2 and RRR. These three blockbusters together have grossed more than Rs 3600 crore worldwide. It was Baahubali that marked a significant turning point in his career which also gave him international fame. He is the only Indian director to achieve a remarkable feat in global box office history with both Baahubali 2 and RRR entering the prestigious 1000-crore club. Furthermore at the 2023 Oscars the electrifying song “Naatu Naatu” from RRR clinched the Best Original Song award triumphing over two tracks by an American pop megastar. Famous film director S.S. Rajamouli recently revealed details about his first salary. He earned it while working as an assistant editor and it was just Rs 50. A video of this revelation is currently going viral on X.
