Shinhwa member Lee Minwoo opens up about life and career issuesDuring a broadcast of the popular TV variety show ‘ Living Men Season 2 ,’ idol Lee Min Woo talked about how his career has been recently. He also made some surprising revelations about his health that shocked netizens online.
The veteran idol shared that “the glamour of being an idol is gradually fading away. When you get older, you retire from your job. If you think of it as an engine, it has worn out a lot. I feel worn out. I think, ‘Not yet. I can run a bit more, but my self-esteem has dropped.”
He continued sharing by saying that “I haven’t signed a contract with a company yet. It feels like I’ve worked hard, but only my empty and hollow body remains.”
Talks about mental health and seeking helpNot only that, Lee Min Woo also revealed during the show that he has been seeing a psychiatrist for maintaining his mental health and for dealing with low self-esteem. He shared that “in the past, I went to a psychiatrist for about six months and was prescribed medication. I feel like I’m trapped in being alone because I spend a lot of time by myself.”
