Ex-Bigg Boss contestant and actress Mannara Chopras father Raman Rai Handa passed away at 72 due to old age. He was also global star Priyanka Chopras uncle. His funeral will be held on June 18 in Mumbai. The news of his passing was shared by Mannara through her Instagram story. She posted the family’s official statement along with funeral details. The message read “With profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family. Raman Rai Handa had been unwell for the past couple of days and was in Mumbai. He is survived by his wife Kamini Chopra Handa and daughters Mannara and Mitali. His funeral will be held on June 18 at 1 PM at the Crematorium Ground in Amboli Andheri West Mumbai. Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra know Mannara through Kamini Chopra who is the paternal aunt. The Handas share a close relationship with the Chopra family despite Mannara rarely mentioning it in public.
