According to Dimsum Dailya video capturing the moment was shared on social media, showing the couple walking closely together while being followed by a small entourage of photographers and security personnel.
Social media users were quick to praise Leung’s charm and the warmth of the couple’s interaction. Many noted how Lau gently followed her husband’s lead, with her graceful and supportive presence offering a rare glimpse into the pair’s long-standing relationship dynamic.
This sighting comes just months after a similar public appearance in April, when the couple attended the 43rd Hong Kong Film Awards at Hong Kong’s Tsim Sha Tsui promenade. At the time, they revealed it was their first stroll together in such a setting.
Lau, 60, began her acting career in 1984 and rose to fame in the 1980s through a string of popular drama series. She later transitioned successfully into film, with notable roles in the “Infernal Affairs” sequels and Wong Kar-wai’s “2046,” boosting her international recognition.
Leung, 63, launched his acting career in 1982 and is widely regarded as one of Asia’s most acclaimed and globally recognized actors. He is especially known for his long-standing collaboration with director Wong Kar-wai, appearing in seven of his films—including “In the Mood for Love,” which earned him the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival.
The couple married in 2008.
