
Asias richest person Mukesh Ambani owns luxury real estate. After acquisition of the historic Stoke Park property in London Mukesh Ambani’s company had purchased the premium luxury hotel Mandarin Oriental in New York. Though its different from Stoke Park it has its unique value as its favorite for Hollywood celebrities. According to the Mandarin Oriental website the hotel is a preferred destination for Hollywood stars. This list has big names like Irish actor Liam Neeson and American actress Lucy Liu. It is famous for its Hudson River views and occupies the 35th to 54th floors. Room Charges Rs 55000 to Rs 10 Lakh Per Night It is located near the prestigious Central Park and Columbus Circle. It was opened in 2003. It has 248 rooms and suites and the cheapest priced at $745 (around Rs 55000) per night. The luxurious room costs $14000 (over Rs 10 lakh) per night. The hotel also offers two more options one is the Presidential Suite and another is Suite 5000 located on the 53rd floor with even higher price. Reliance Industries had acquired the property for $98.1 million (around Rs 728 crore). The deal was executed through Reliance Industries’ fully-owned subsidiary which entered into an agreement with Columbus Centre Corporation (Cayman) the owner of a 73.37% stake in the Mandarin Oriental.
