Mohammed Salisu (26) is looking to leave AS Monaco this summer and, according to The team, the Ghanaian is attracting interest from Turkish side Galatasaray.
Salisu joined Monaco from Southampton in the summer of 2023. After a difficult first season in which he contended with multiple injuries, he was more prominent at the start of last season. However, by the end of the campaign, he had been pigeon-holed as a backup option. As a result, he made just 15 appearances in Ligue 1, with his last start in the competition coming on 1st February.
Competition will be even more significant next season. The Principality club have already confirmed the signing of Eric Dier, who joins on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract at Bayern Munich. These factors leave Salisu in a position where he is looking for a move away from the Principality, according to Sacha Tables.
As per The team, Galatasaray are very interested in the centre-back, although no bid has been submitted as of yet.
