New Delhi: The Indian version of the hit reality series 'The Traitors' has been making waves on Prime Video, and the drama is only intensifying. Contestants Apoorva Mukhija and Uorfi Javed, who initially bonded over a "sisterhood pact" called the 'Behen Code', have found themselves at odds with each other, both on and off camera.
Apoorva Mukhija and Uorfi Javed's Fallout
According to Apoorva, the clash began when Uorfi repeatedly asked her why she was crying, leading to Apoorva snapping and losing her composure. Uorfi later remarked that Apoorva should show her more respect, given the professional disparity between the two. However, things took a turn for the worse when Uorfi allegedly insulted Apoorva off-camera, leaving her feeling shaken and humiliated.
In an emotional YouTube video, Apoorva shared her side of the story, revealing that she had an argument with her mother before entering the show and was denied phone calls home, leading to her emotional breakdown. When Uorfi questioned her about her tears, Apoorva said, "Not everything is about you, Uorfi." The situation escalated further when Uorfi allegedly called out to Apoorva, using derogatory language, and shouted at her, saying, "Tumhe pata hai tum kisse baat kar rahi ho? Main tumhare level pe hoon kya? Tumhari aukaat nahi hai mujhse baat karne ki". The remarks left Apoorva feeling humiliated.
“This was my worst fear — someone saying I’m just an influencer and don’t deserve to be on the show,” she said, adding that she felt like an impostor and feared viewers would agree with Uorfi.
