Three matches will take place on the 16th of June 2025 in the Maharashtra Premier League 2025. All three matches will take place at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, at 9:30 AM, 2:00 PM, and 7:00 PM, respectively. 

In the first match of the day, Ratnagiri Jets will be up against Raigad Royals. Both teams are still in contention to qualify for the Playoffs, and their faceoff will be highly important in the context of their qualification. One can expect a good fight between the two sides, as they will be eyeing to win by a big margin to improve their net run rate.

The second match of the day will take place between Kolhapur Tuskers and Eagle Nashik Titans at 2:00 PM. Nashik is comfortably placed at the top of the points table and has a good chance to play Qualifier 1. While they have been the best side of the league, the challenge will be for Kolhapur to win the match at all costs to stay alive in the tournament.

Puneri Bappa and Satara Warriors will have a faceoff with each other in the last match of the day, which will start from 7:00 PM. Puneri are placed well in the points table and are just a step away from qualification. On the other hand, the Warriors must win their upcoming match, which will be challenging. Hence, a good match can be expected from the two sides.

Pitch Report

All three matches on June 15 will take place at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The surface is usually good for batting, with good assistance for pacers and spinners. Pace bowlers get a bit of extra bounce with some early swing. However, since the erection of roofs, the amount of swing has reduced for the pacers.

Since the black soil is extensively used at the venue, spinners have a major say on the result. The first two matches of the day will be played in the heat, where the pitch is likely to slow down. Even in the night game, the pitch might only become difficult to bat on, with the progression of the match, unless interrupted by rain.
