“They looked happy and in love. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they lay on a towel on the sand. They were kissing passionately,” a source told Bild.

According to German media, Schweinsteiger’s new partner is a Bulgarian woman named Silvia, who has two sons attending the same school as Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic’s children. Silvia is reportedly separated from her husband. She previously appeared on a Ukrainian health website, in an article for pregnant women.

Bild reports that Schweinsteiger and Silvia began dating several months ago, raising speculation that his marriage with Ivanovic has ended.

A representative for Schweinsteiger declined to comment, stating that both he and Ivanovic would not address personal matters publicly.

While Schweinsteiger enjoyed time in Mallorca with his new partner, Ivanovic was seen in Paris attending the Roland Garros over the weekend.

The beach photos came nearly two months after rumors of marital trouble between Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic emerged, reportedly due to growing distance and lack of time together. Schweinsteiger, based mainly in Munich and frequently traveling for work, has spent long periods away from Ivanovic and their children, who now live in her hometown of Belgrade.

The couple has also been notably absent from each other’s social media in recent months. Their last public appearance together was in December 2023 at a Christmas market in Vienna, Austria.

Once hailed as a sports power couple, Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic met in 2014 and married in a lavish ceremony in Venice in 2016. They have three sons, born in 2018, 2019 and 2023. Beyond their marriage, the two are also partners in work as they promote several fashion brands together.

Ivanovic enjoyed a decorated career, highlighted by her 2008 Roland Garros title and reaching the top spot in the WTA rankings the same year.

Schweinsteiger, meanwhile, is considered one of Germany’s greatest midfielders. During his 18-year career, he won eight Bundesliga titles, seven German Cups and a Champions League title with Bayern Munich. After joining Manchester United in 2015, he added the League Cup, FA Cup and Europa League to his trophy haul. He concluded his career with Chicago Fire in the MLS, retiring in 2019.

On the international stage, Schweinsteiger earned 121 caps for Germany and played a key role in the team’s 2014 World Cup victory in Brazil.
