Major Accident Averted In Kedarnath: 7 people narrowly escaped in the hard landing of helicopter, DGCA started investigating

News India Live, Digital Desk: Major Accident Averted In Kedarnath: During the holy Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand, a major accident was averted today, when the emergency of a helicopter had to be done ‘hard landing’ near Kedarnath Dham. In this incident, 6 devotees and 1 pilot aboard the helicopter narrowly survived.

What happened?

The incident occurred at the Sirsi helipad near Kedarnath. A helicopter from the Crystal Aviation Company was flying with devotees. Suddenly, there was a technical problem in the back of the helicopter i.e. ‘Tail Rotor’. Sensing the situation, the pilot showed understanding and immediately made a hard landing of the helicopter.

‘Hard landing’ means that the helicopter landed at the ground at a very fast pace and shock. During this time, the back of the helicopter collided with the ground, which also damaged him. But the biggest relief is that all 7 people in the helicopter are completely safe and no one has been hurt.

Where were the devotees from?

6 devotees in the helicopter were from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra, who arrived to visit Baba Kedarnath. After this incident, they are all scared, but are thanking God for being safe.

Administration started investigating

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken the incident seriously and ordered an inquiry immediately. The helicopter has been barred from flying until the investigation is completed. Such incidents are a big challenge between the inaccessible paths and changing weather of Char Dham Yatra, but the devotees and administration have breathed a sigh of relief from their safe escape.
