The Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankharis set to embark on a significant three-day visit to Puducherry from June 15 to 17, 2025. The visit underscores the Union Government’s focus on academic engagement, sustainability, and fostering dialogue with the youth and higher education institutions.

A highlight of the visit will be on June 16, when Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar serves as the Chief Guest at a major event hosted by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER). Centered on the theme ‘Environmental Sustainability in Building the Nation’the programme will emphasize the vital importance of environmental stewardship in national progress.
