

The Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankharis set to embark on a significant three-day visit to Puducherry from June 15 to 17, 2025. As part of his visit, the Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar will attend several key events focused on advancing environmental responsibility and educational excellence. A highlight of the visit will be on June 16, when Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar serves as the Chief Guest at a major event hosted by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER). Centered on the theme ‘Environmental Sustainability in Building the Nation’the programme will emphasize the vital importance of environmental stewardship in national progress. Shri Dhankhar is expected to deliver the keynote address, outlining the government’s vision for sustainable development and the pivotal role institutions like JIPMER can play in promoting eco-conscious healthcare and policymaking.
