New Delhi: In the ICC World Test Championship 2025, South Africa created history by beating Australia by 5 wickets at Lord’s cricket ground in England. South Africa became the only team to win an ICC tournament after 27 years.
During this time, Bavuma strengthened the team by playing innings of 36 and 66 runs respectively in the final match. Bavuma made many records by playing these innings for South Africa. He also made a record which even Indian team’s star batsmen Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma could not make.
Temba Bavuma made big records in his name in WTC Final 2025:
South Africa captain Temba Bavuma is being discussed everywhere today in the WTC Final 2025. He worked to strengthen the team in difficult times against Australia. While groaning in pain himself, he played a valuable innings and got his name registered in the record books. Temba became the player to play the biggest innings in the World Test Championship final. Both Rohit and Virat failed to score a fifty as captain, while the Proteas captain played an innings of 66 runs.
