PTC Web Desk: In a significant political development in Punjab, former minister Sikandar Singh Maluka has officially rejoined the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Party president Sukhbir Singh Badal confirmed the move, stating that Maluka will immediately participate in the Ludhiana West by-election campaign.
Welcoming him back, Sukhbir Singh Badal recalled Maluka’s past contributions to the party under the leadership of the late Sardar Parkash Singh Badal, highlighting his role in strengthening the Akali Dal during critical periods. "His return will further reinforce the party’s presence and momentum ahead of the upcoming elections," said the SAD president.
The SAD president also appealed to the people of Punjab to come together in support of the party, asserting that a united front would ensure peace and progress in the state.
