Expectation of change in weather
According to the IMD, the weather is likely to start changing from June 14, which will bring relief rain with strong winds in various parts of Delhi and NCR.
Heat will remain for the next 24 hours
Despite getting closer to relief, scorching heat is expected in the next 24 hours. However, partly cloudy weather may bring some relief.
Winds and light rain in the forecast
Light rain is expected with thunderstorms and strong winds.
Wind speed is expected to be between 40-50 km/h, gusting up to 60 km/h at times during the storm.
Thunderstorm activity with light rain and winds of 30-40 km/h (up to 50 km/h) is expected on June 14 and 15, which will bring some cooling effect.
Gradual fall in temperature expected
June 14-15: Maximum temperature may range between 39°C and 41°C.
June 16-19: Generally cloudy sky with light to moderate rain and thundershowers expected.
June 16, 17 and 19: Maximum temperature will range between 37°C and 39°C.
June 18: Slightly cooler, maximum temperature will range between 36°C and 38°C.
