Steps in Aadhaar Authentication Process

Request Initiation – Authorized agency or service provider sends Aadhaar number and related data

Data Processing – This includes demographic (name, date of birth etc.) or biometric (fingerprint, iris scan) information of the individual

Verification by UIDAI CIDR – UIDAI’s Central Identity Data Repository (CIDR) verifies this data
