New Delhi . Shubman Gill -led Team India (Team India) has to play a 5 match Test series against hosts England (HOST England) from June 20. Team India has reached England for this series and is busy preparing. India has the only intra squad match to strengthen its preparations. The match has started in Becanham since June 13. The competition is being behind the closed doors, due to which it is not being broadcast live nor much information to the scoreboard is coming out. However, the BCCI has told about the performance of the players after the end of the day’s play.

According to the post on BCCI X, KL Rahul shines in batting on the first day of India Verses India a Intra Squad with captain Shubman Gill. Both star batsmen scored half -centuries. In bowling, Shardul Thakur looted the Mahfil. Thakur has claimed to join the playing XI through his performance.

The BCCI wrote in its post, “Bekenham… A solid early day in the intra-skava game! KL Rahul and captain Shubman Gill took a half-century for Shubman Gill, Shardul Thakur took wickets.”

Yashasvi Jaiswal is also seen on non -striker end in a picture. The BCCI has not mentioned them in the post, so it is believed that he could not do much in this match. This is Yashasvi Jaiswal’s first England tour. This young batsman had already come to England to get up under the circumstances here. Jaiswal played two matches for India A, but he could not do much in that.

Shardul Thakur played the last Test for India on a tour of South Africa in 2023. He then stayed out of the team due to injury. He was not selected in the team for the recent border Gavaskar Trophy.

Now when he has been selected in the team for the tour of England, he has competition from Nitish Kumar Reddy, who has emerged as a new fast bowling all -rounder.
