However she became Hindu and converted her religion after getting married. Interestingly Sonia was previously engaged to Shammi Kapoor before becoming Shivendras wife. Two years into the wedding Shivendra Sinhji tragically passed away in 1990. Sonia became a single mother. She was last seen in Phool Aur Aag in 1999.
