Sonam and Raj’s affair is being reported before marriage, which continued even after marriage. Sonam was married to Indore businessman King Raghuvanshi on 11 May and was murdered in Meghalaya after just 12 days. Sonam had already conspired to murder and for this the mercenaries were sent to Meghalaya through her lover. She escaped after the murder but surrendered in Ghazipur.

Conspiracy was hatched to kill husband

Sonam, along with her lover Raj Kushwaha, planned to kill her husband. There was already an affair between the two and the two remained in constant touch even after marriage. On the pretext of honeymoon, Sonam took her husband to Shillong and three already there were attacked with an ax and killed her. The body was thrown into the ditch after the murder. According to the police, Sonam gave 4 lakhs to the killers in advance, later the deal was settled in 20 lakhs.

After the murder, when the king’s body was brought to Indore, Raj Kushwaha was also involved in the funeral and the family of Sonam was shown to be tied to Dhandas. Investigation revealed that he was also with Sonam’s father. Sonam later surrendered in Ghazipur and admitted the murder in police investigation. At the same time, all the accused have also been arrested and confessed to crime. Raj Kushwaha is 5 years younger than Sonam and used to work in his own business.
