Theo Hernandez’s future remains up in the air after the latest proceedings in talks between Milan and Atletico Madridbut the Rossoneri need the 27-year-old to move on if they are to bring in Oleksander Zinchenko from Arsenal this summer.
Latest updates on Theo Hernandez, Milan and Atletico Madrid
Milan have been looking to sell Theo Hernandez, who will be entering the final year of his contract in 2025-26. The Frenchman turned down an offer from Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal, and has more recently been subject of interest from Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.
Atletico had tabled an offer around the €20m mark, made up of an €18m fixed fee and between €2m-€3m in bonuses, which Milan took under consideration but ultimately rejected.

This comes after Theo decided to turn down a lucrative contract offer from Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.
Milan have already sounded out a move for Zinchenko to prepare for an eventuality where Theo Hernandez does leave, but as things stand, there are no guarantees either way.
There is still a chance that Theo finds an agreement to leave Milan this summer, but with moves to Como, Al-Hilal and possibly also Atletico Madrid falling through over the last few months, it remains a delicate situation for the Rossoneri.
