However, from then till now, many things have changed. According to a US Weekly source-based report, the couple never set a date for their wedding or got around to planning anything.

According to Page Six, sources have revealed that there is a rumour of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's relationship being on the rocks. One source even quoted, “It’s over," while another said, “They are waiting ’til her tour is over before they split.”

The couple who first met in 2016 at a Golden Globes after-party may have ended their relationship, as per rumours. On the other hand, an exclusive source told Entertainment Tonight that things between Katy and Orlando haven't been great for a few months. "Orlando is coming to a breaking point with the tension in their relationship."

Possible reasons behind the rumoured breakup

The same report from Entertainment Tonight noted that other factors have also had their fair share in weighing in on the pressure.

While Katy has been upset over the backlash she faced from her recent space trip and her album sales, Orlando has been trying to be supportive because "he knows how hard things can be when balancing everything, especially when kids are involved." But Katy's demeanour has become increasingly frustrating for him," the source added.


Amid all the rumours and speculations, friends of Katy and Orlando have dropped a bombshell about the couple's split. According to their friends, the 40-year-old singer and 48-year-old actor are reportedly not going through a rough patch for the first time.

However, a close source has told US Weekly, "It’s true they’re spending time apart. Their friends don’t know if they are permanently split."
