New research conducted by the experts at MoneySuperMarket reveals that 43% of Brits would contemplate embarking on an adventurous 24-hour trip, with many doing so in the pursuit of love.
With cheap flights, no need for hotel expenses, and leaving luggage behind, couples are managing to pack whirlwind adventures into just one day - and they're absolutely loving it.

Couple this with the 15,000 worldwide searches for dating abroad, and it's evident: British dating is taking a global turn.

France clinches the top spot (26%) as the preferred overseas dating destination, followed closely by sunny Spain (17%) and picturesque (15%).
But it's not just about the destination - it's also about what you do once you're there.
One in five (20%) favour activity-based dates, and a third (34%) believe it's the best way to truly get to know someone.

Alicia Hempsted, expert at MoneySuperMarket, said:.
"We've seen a 25% increase in enquiries about single trip travel insurance in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same time last year.
And, with our research revealing that a third of Brits are craving excitement in their love lives, more and more of us are travelling abroad with our loved one.
"It's clear that love is going the distance."
So if you're fed up with the mundane local dating scene, it could be worth considering booking that flight and jetting off for a romantic adventure.
