The same deal is available at , while and are offering it from £264. Buyers can also claim a three-month trial of Meta Horizon+ when the headset is up and running, offering two free games each month.

The Meta Quest 3S is designed as a more affordable version of the standard Meta Quest 3, delivering HD gameplay with a resolution of 1832x1920 pixels per eye and 128GB of storage compared to the 3's 4K resolution and 512GB. It boasts more than double the graphic processing power of the Quest 2.

The latest Meta Quest deals may tempt gamers away from the as stock of the new £395.99 console is proving hard to come by at many retailers. Of the , one five-star review said: "Fantastic piece of kit for such a low price. I was really torn whether to get the 3S over the 3, but quickly found I made the right decision as this headset does not compromise on quality and performance - it truly exceeded all expectations I had. The battery life is decent, around two and a half hours continuously playing a game, but this can easily be resolved by purchasing a longer cable, as the stock cable is quite short. I can genuinely say that this was well worth the cost."

Another said: "Definitely worth getting for new VR users. Decided on the 3S over the 3 and haven't been disappointed with that decision. Great games would highly recommend the Quest+ subscription of which you get first three months free. For those with glasses the 3S comes with a glasses spacer which is easy enough to install."

However, the same buyer noted a potential flaw, adding: "Only slight issue is the head strap isn't the most comfortable."
